Improve Lubrication and Enhance Sexual Sensitivity
The nonsurgical treatment that uses a woman's own growth factors to rejuvenate vaginal tissue, enhancing libido, improving urinary incontinence, and boosting overall sexual health.
Dr. William Marc Boyd D.O.M.D.

As women head into their 30s, 40s and 50s there are two questions we OFTEN encounter during client visits.

  • Is there a nonsurgical way to treat urinary leaks?
  • Is there a completely natural way to improve libido?

Yes! The O-Shot®

The O-Shot®, AKA, the Orgasm Shot® is a patented therapy that rejuvenates vaginal tissue leading to improvements in urinary incontinence, vaginal lubrication, and sexual health by utilizing a woman’s innate growth factors to regenerate her tissues.

Despite the reluctance to discuss intimacy issues with a healthcare provider, 50% of women report challenges with libido and/or orgasm. 2/3 of all women following a vaginal delivery suffer with stress urinary incontinence. The simple question “do I lose urine with coughing, sneezing, or laughing” is frequently not asked, and is often discarded as a “normal part of aging”. During menopause, many women suffer from painful intercourse. Optimizing hormones, using pellet therapy in combination with vaginal estrogen for rejuvenation, the O-Shot is even more impressive in its natural ability to heal and improve intimacy and stress incontinence.

What is the O-Shot® and how does it work?

After arriving at Epiphany Women’s Health, a tube of blood will be drawn from the arm. The blood will then be spun down using a centrifuge to retrieve the platelet rich plasma (PRP). PRP are natural cells that the body secretes to help promote regeneration of tissue. While the PRP is being processed, the clitoral and upper vaginal area will be numbed with anesthetizing cream. After approximately 20 minutes, the tissue will be numb and will be further anesthetized with lidocaine injection. This allows the tissue to be fully numb prior to the injection of the PRP. This allows the patient to have a virtually pain-free experience. After the injection of the PRP, a woman can return to normal life. This includes exercise and intercourse.

What results can be expected with the O-Shot®?

Some women report immediate improvements in libido and urinary incontinence. However, full effects can take up to 3 months to realize. Although not a magic shot, the O-Shot has had a 75-95% success rate in improving sexual health and urinary incontinence. This far exceeds the current traditional therapies available on the market.

Does insurance pay for procedure? NO

HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?

Patients typically experience significant benefits from their PRP injections for twelve to eighteen months. While it can take several weeks for results to be seen, one should be patient while waiting for the benefits to kick in (keep in mind some clients experience results within a few days). This is because there are a few reasons why it can take up to several weeks before experiencing any visible changes.

First, the injected platelets need time to activate and start repairing damaged tissue. Second, the healing process takes time and sometimes requires more than one application of injections. Third, depending on the severity of the injury or condition being treated, it may take longer for complete healing.

How often can a woman have the procedure?

As many times as she requires for optimal health.

Explore your choices and embrace the lifestyle you desire.
